Model from Kyrgyzstan debuts on Paris Fashion Week runway

Kyrgyz model Temirkhan Zulkharov made his debut at Paris Fashion Week, becoming the first representative of the country to take part in a show within one of the world’s leading fashion events.

His debut took place on June 24 during a show by the French brand Egonlab, which presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Tatler Kazakhstan reports.

Zulkharov was among six models from Central Asia participating in this season’s Paris Fashion Week. According to the publication, he is the first-ever model from Kyrgyzstan to walk the runway at the event.

Tatler Kazakhstan noted that his participation marked an important milestone not only in his personal career but also for Kyrgyzstan’s fashion industry.

The list of Central Asian models published by the outlet also includes five representatives from Kazakhstan. The publication adds that models from the region are increasingly making their presence felt on the global fashion stage, taking part in major brand shows and working with international agencies.
