The net profit of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC for the nine months of 2023 amounted to more than $146 million. The President of the company, Almaz Baryktabasov, announced at a meeting of the Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Subsoil Use and Industrial Policy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, in 2022 the company’s revenues reached $387 million. The amount of dividends paid is $140 million.
«Today we have 134 tons of gold in our reserves. In addition, more than 100 tons are being detected that can be extracted. The tailings contain another 120 tons of gold. The reserves are good,» Almaz Baryktabasov said.
