In January — October 2023, budget expenditures on servicing the public debt were estimated at 35,771.7 billion soms. The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan provided the data.
Payments on external debt accounted for the main part of the amount — 26,285.1 billion soms. At least 9,486.6 billion were allocated to repay the internal state debt.
At the end of September, the state debt of Kyrgyzstan reached $5,987.01 billion.
