Branches of Turkey’s banks are offered to be opened in Kyrgyzstan

Trade Representative of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey Chingiz Toktobekov met with the Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance of Turkey, Chairman of Eximbank Osman Çelik. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Chingiz Toktobekov told about the development of trade and economic cooperation and close trade network between Turkey and the Kyrgyz Republic. He also raised the issue of money transfers for large companies and entrepreneurs doing business between the two countries. He made a number of proposals for the implementation of joint projects.

In particular, he voiced the idea of opening branches of Turkish banks in Kyrgyzstan for preferential lending.

In turn, Osman Çelik told about readiness to work on joint projects in trade and economic sphere and stressed the need for cooperation with the Turkish Investment Fund.

A meeting with the General Director of Turkish Eximbank Ali Güney and Deputy General Director of the Trade and Development Bank, representative in Turkey Ahmet Tutar is also planned in Istanbul in the near future.
