Kyrgyzstan and Italy discussed preparations for the Global Mountain Summit in Bishkek.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ermek Omuraliev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Italy, met with Stefano Gatti, Director General for Development Cooperation at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the development of joint projects in agriculture and preparations for the second Global Mountain Summit, which will be held in Bishkek in 2027. They also discussed prospects for project financing in the agricultural sector and other priority areas for Kyrgyzstan, as well as the coordination of technical assistance programs in the Central Asia — Italy format.
