On June 24, 2026, Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, received Sándor Dorogi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.
During the conversation, the parties noted with satisfaction the progressive development of Kyrgyzstan — Hungary cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, as well as active interaction within the Organization of Turkic States. In this context, the importance of high-level mutual visits held in 2024–2025 was noted as an important factor in strengthening the strategic partnership.
The Minister specifically noted the role of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Development Fund in expanding bilateral investment ties.
At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to Ambassador Sandor Dorogi for his significant personal contribution to the development of friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary, wishing him further success.
