The purchase of municipal land plots previously leased for the construction of apartment buildings continues in Bishkek. The Municipal Property Department of the City Hall reported.
This work is being carried out in accordance with the Regulation approved by Resolution No. 95 of the Bishkek City Council dated March 31, 2026. This document determines the procedure for the purchase of plots leased to individuals and legal entities for the temporary use of apartment buildings.
To encourage leaseholders, discount coefficients are included in the land price calculation. Until December 31, 2026, plots can be purchased with a 50 percent discount. In 2027, the discount will be 40 percent, and in 2028 — 20 percent.
In addition, until October 1, 2026, an additional reduction coefficient of 0.4 applies to land plots larger than one hectare.
To complete the purchase, applicants have to submit a request to the Department of Municipal Property at 168, Chui Avenue, including details of the applicant, as well as the area and location of the plot.
Required documents include:
- land title documents;
- identity documents;
- incorporation documents for legal entities;
- commissioning certificate of the constructed facility (if available);
- updated extract from the State Register of Real Estate Rights.
After approval by the commission, the lessee has to pay the buyout price and sign a sales contract. Ownership rights are granted after state registration of the agreement.
