Freight and passenger transportation across the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) continues to grow, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reported.
According to its data, from January to April 2026 (compared to the previous year), there was an increase in both total passenger traffic across the EAEU (by 1.5 percent) and in all national indicators: in Belarus by 8.3 percent, Kyrgyzstan by 5.1 percent, Kazakhstan by 4.6 percent, Armenia by 4.1 percent, and Russia by 0.5 percent.
Furthermore, during the reporting period, freight traffic also increased in Armenia (12.8 percent), Kyrgyzstan (3.5 percent), and Belarus (0.2 percent).
