The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan has issued a weather alert for Bishkek and Chui region.
According to Kyrgyz Hydrometeorological Center, easterly wind is expected to strengthen in the capital and the Chui Valley over the next three hours. Thunderstorms are forecast during the day and in the evening, after which the wind direction will shift with gusts of up to 15-20 meters per second.
Residents are advised to take precautions, avoid trees, advertising structures, and power lines if possible, and exercise caution on the roads.
