A mudflow has occurred as a result of heavy rainfall and Kyrgyzkomur is urging drivers to temporarily refrain from traveling to Kara-Keche field.
According to report, continuous heavy rains over the past several days triggered a mudflow on Dyikan—Kara-Keche—Moldo-Ashuu road.
As a result, a bridge located at kilometers 30–32 of the road was completely destroyed, leading to a full suspension of all types of vehicle traffic on the route to Kara-Keche coal field.
In this regard, Kyrgyzkomur OJSC is calling on all truck and passenger vehicle drivers, coal transport operators, entrepreneurs, and citizens to avoid traveling toward Kara-Keche until the road is fully restored.
Emergency repair works are currently underway by the Kara-Keche branch.
Further updates will be provided through official sources once the bridge is restored and traffic is resumed.
