At year-end 2027, the total number of payment cards issued in Kyrgyzstan will reach 5,034.9 million. Such an outlook is presented by the National Bank.
At the same time, 112.8 million transactions will be made using bank cards. The volume on them will exceed 502.6 billion soms.
In addition, the number of users of electronic wallets in five years will be 5,868.4 million. At least 34.7 million transactions for 94 billion soms will be carried out with the use of electronic money.
As of the beginning of October 2022, about 4.7 million payment cards were issued and 5.4 million e-wallet users were registered in Kyrgyzstan.
