A Regional Project Support Center for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries has been opened in Bishkek. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The center was created as part of the implementation of the priorities of the Kyrgyz Republic’s SCO presidency in 2025–2026.
According to Temir Sariev, head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the center’s main objectives will be to support promising investment and infrastructure projects, promote the development of trade and economic ties between SCO countries, find partners for joint initiatives, and provide expert and organizational support to businesses.
Meerim Kozhokmatova, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan, has been appointed head of the new center.
