Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan meets with President of Turkey

During his official visit to Turkey, Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During the meeting, the parties noted the high dynamics of Kyrgyzstan — Turkey cooperation and emphasized the importance of regular contacts at the high and highest levels. They reaffirmed their mutual interest in further deepening their partnership across a wide range of areas.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation within the UN, the Organization of Turkic States, and other international organizations. The Kyrgyz side expressed gratitude to Turkey for supporting Kyrgyzstan’s candidacy for the 2027–2028 non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Kyrgyzstan on its election and wished it success in fulfilling its objectives.

The parties also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation within the Turkic world and coordinating efforts on international security issues.

Following the talks, readiness for the further development of a comprehensive strategic partnership and the consistent implementation of previously reached agreements was confirmed.
