According to the security service, investigators uncovered an organized criminal group involved in the transportation, storage, and distribution of narcotics believed to be of Afghan origin.

Searches were conducted at several locations in Bishkek, where more than 10 kilograms of drugs were confiscated. In addition, a cannabis cultivation farm was discovered and dismantled in the suburbs of the capital.

Six citizens of Kyrgyzstan suspected of involvement in illegal drug trafficking were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the SCNS.

The investigation is ongoing as law enforcement agencies work to identify the supply routes and other individuals involved in the criminal network.
